70 is the new 50
An interesting article here on the language for older people - seniors, elderly, retiree, etc. Each with its somewhat negative connotation. They seem to be proposing the term ‘older’. It may be catching on. Though we laughed with Viv this week, when she joked she less interested in ‘getting older’ - rather she interested in ‘not getting older’! ‘We all liked 70 is the new 50’
